WHAT IS ART ...?

This is an interesting question with no specific definition due to the open nature of - art. Perhaps a simple term is:

Images, paintings, sketching, water colours etc, that are viewed by the creator (or market) as being so creatively unique that they warrant social exposure for visual pleasure and possible sales. They are produced to the highest quality and have some archival attributes to be enjoyed for many years.

HOW DOES DARRAN GET HIS IMAGES?

This might help you to appreciate the process of how Darran gets his fantastic images. Most images will have taken a long time to get to you as a final print or canvas.

1. Darran researches a region for possible images. At times, this can take place over years.
2. He will often take days to travel to that region and return.
3. He spends hours, days, weeks in the field shooting specially targeted subjects or any other opportunity.
4. On returning he will base process and catalogue the image. Finally, the image is 'used' with Darran (or the family) printing to the highest quality.

QUALITY

As with all Darran Leal Fine Art images, they are printed on the most up to date archival medium. That is - it will last a 'lifetime'.* We use Epson printers as they offer the most realistic results to those seen at the time of shooting or on Darran's creative screen. This guarantees you a valuable asset that you can enjoy for many years and that in time, may grow in value.

COLOUR

Please note that colour will vary from screen to screen. Darran uses the latest equipment, archival materials and techniques. Your special prints or canvas will be supplied to the highest standard possible.
